The Dorigoni Refuge, in Trentino, is owned by the Società degli Alpinisti Trentini. It is located in Val di Rabbi – Alta Val Saent, one of the most authentic valleys of the Stelvio National Park and of the entire Ortles-Cevedale Group, at an altitude of 2436 m above a rocky step in an open and sunny position. The cordial welcome of the Iachelini family combined with the hospitality of a well-kept and peaceful alpine refuge make it an ideal place for an exciting experience among the high altitudes of Trentino made up of excursions in environments of natural value, trekking from refuge to refuge and ascents at high altitude. The Dorigoni has 60 beds mainly divided into new multiple bedrooms, common bathrooms on the floor and a shower service. Food supplies are made by helicopter approximately every 3 weeks. The Dorigoni Hut is open only in the summer season, from 20 June to 20 September. It is a comfortable alpine structure, built with modern technological concepts that pay particular attention to environmental sustainability. Thanks to the energy produced by its hydroelectric turbine, the refuge offers its guests a small drying room inside the access veranda.
