Pastures, gentle slopes and a sea of flowers that color the meadows especially in spring: this is the landscape in the heart of the Maddalene mountain range where the Rifugio Maddalene was recently renovated by the Municipality of Rumo, created from an ancient mountain hut. Up here - at 1925 meters above sea level, near the borders between the German and Italian worlds - the managers organize overnight stays with the possibility of admiring the stars and the sunrise and - in case of bad weather - of being seduced by the brick stove that heats this building made of stone and wood. We also have a UIAGM Alpine Guide on our staff who, by agreement, can accompany you on your excursions. Possibility of organizing group dinners and lunches. For group dinners/lunches of more than five people, reservations are appreciated. THE REFUGE CAN BE REACHED BY E-BIKE AND IT IS POSSIBLE TO RECHARGE THE BIKE.
