The Città di Massa refuge is located in a panoramic position between the beautiful Apuan Alps and the Versilia coast. It is ideal for those who want to spend days breathing in the fresh area, tasting the flavors of the typical local cuisine and enjoying a breathtaking view of the mountains and the sea. It can be reached by car and this allows even less experienced hikers to spend time in the mountains and take easy walks. The refuge is also equipped to welcome disabled people and offers large spaces inside for conferences, exhibitions and more. Finally, the 13 bedrooms with sea/mountain views offer the possibility of staying overnight at the refuge for up to a maximum of 30 people.
Read everythingThe refuge is easily reachable by car: once you reach the "Massa" exit of the A12 motorway, take the signs for the villages of San Carlo - Altagnana - Antona and then continue on the Massa-Arni mountain provincial road up to Pian della Fioba where the refuge is located. Travel time from the motorway exit: approximately 30 minutes.
